Like farming, cattle-rearing is the occupation of many communities in Indian villages. Visit the family's cattle yard adjoining the house and learn about traditional activities related to buffalo care, feeding, breeding and milking.

Village / Farm Walk

Take a walk through the village to see the community places such as wells, temples and the market. Learn a thing or two about traditional farming practices as you walk through the vegetable plantations. You may even get to pluck some vegetable harvest, if you get lucky.

Music in the Farm

Immerse yourself in authentic, unplugged folk music as community musicians and singers perform live for you in the most unpretentious setting.

Traditional Cooking

Take a close look at traditional food preparation and cooking in a rural home. From manual grinding of spices to al-fresco cooking on the home-made, wood-fired burner.
